Help!
The Greytower site has been designed with ease of use in mind. However, it would be impossible for us to ensure that we have met your needs and wishes without feedback. If there are any features of our site which you feel need be made more clear or easy to use, please do not hesitate to get in touch with us.
Readability
This site makes no attempt to control the font size of plain text, as we believe this will hamper readability more than anything. If you see the text as too small or too large, we recommend that you adjust your browser settings to a size which you find comfortable. This is easily done in most common browsers today.
For details on the exact procedure, please see your browser's documentation.
Navigation
We have included a navigational menu for your convenience. In a visual browser with support for Cascading Style Sheets it will be rendered on the top of the view-port. In other cases it will be shown, or read, before the main content.
Prior to the main menu there is a link which will allow you to bypass the menu and go directly to the content.
For access - or shortcut - keys, we have kept to the UK Government access key standard, resulting in a configuration that looks as follows:
Access key | Functionality invoked |
---|---|
S | Skip navigation |
1 | Home - or first - page |
2 | News |
3 | Sitemap |
4 | Search - unused by us at this time |
5 | Frequently asked questions - unused by us at this time |
6 | Help |
7 | Complaints procedure - unused by us at this time |
8 | Terms and conditions - unused by us at this time |
9 | Feedback form - unused by us at this time |
0 | Access key details - unused by us at this time |
Please note that the method for invoking access keys will be different from platform to platform, and browser to browser.
